Family Law and Juvenile Law, Assisting Self Represented Family Law Parties, Eastern Washington

Legal Services We Offer

Representing and Advising Litigants with Administrative hearings

If you have an administrative hearing for a finding of abuse or neglect issued by Child Protective Services ("CAPTA hearing"), reach out for a consultation.

These issues are often difficult to navigate for self-represented parties but have long-lasting impacts.

Family Law Matters

Contact us for a consultation with an Attorney and Limited License Legal Technician (LLLT) to discuss your options in family law matters such as divorce, parenting plan, child support, and minor guardianship.

If you know you want to represent yourself in court, you can request a consultation to review your family law documents to ensure they are complete and receive advice about procedural issues.

We offer a sliding scale in some cases.

For assistance, please contact the office or fill out this form to request a call back.

Family Law Mediation

Barb and Lindsey are family law mediators providing mediation in person and by zoom. If you need a mediator for your family law matter, please reach out or fill out this form to request a call back.

Juvenile Dependency and Termination of Parental Rights

Parents or guardians of children involved in a Dependency or Termination of Parental Rights matter have a right to court assigned counsel if they are low income. Our firm works with the Office of Public Defense to defend low income parents and guardians in these matters. If you need an attorney but do not qualify for court assigned counsel, please reach out for a consultation.

Webinars for Self Represented Family Law Parties

As a service to the community, we provide webinars via Zoom for persons representing themselves in family law cases. Webinars are a great place to learn general legal information, but due to the nature of a webinar there will be no 1-1 legal advice and simply attending a webinar does not create an attorney/client relationship between the attendee and the firm.

Upcoming webinar topics include: How to fill out the Divorce Petition, How to Serve the Other Party, How to Finalize a Divorce matter, How to Prepare for an Information Family Law Trial, Why to Choose Mediation and How to Prepare for Mediation, How to fill out the Proposed Parenting Plan, and When to file a Petition to Establish Parentage vs. When to file a Petition for Parenting Plan. If you are interested in attending a webinar, please contact the office or fill out this online form to request an invitation.

We are ready to help you.
